Paypal won't take *my* credit card, though. Not "my type of credit card" - mine in particular. About ten years ago I ordered something online using Paypal right before there was some mixup with my college accommodations, the package was returned as undeliverable and there was a chargeback to the card, I didn't some sort of e-mails related to it in a timely manner because of losing access to a school e-mail, and as a result they decided I'm a scammer and blocked my card number forever. And once they have decided this, there is no appeal, and not even any pathway to attempt to appeal - I tried repeatedly and got nowhere. So I can't use PayPal with a credit card unless I get a new one just for that. This is only the first reason I hate Paypal and try to avoid paying for services when that's the only online-pay choice.

(denise has heard this story before because the way I bought my first couple of paid DW accounts - back when they were using Paypal only - was by hand-delivering cash to DW headquarters...)
