Even understanding that access only passes from the secondary journal up to the primary (i.e. user logged in as MY_JOURNAL could read posts that MY_FICJOURNAL has access to, but user logged in as MY_FICJOURNAL couldn't read posts that MY_JOURNAL has access to), I'm still just not comfortable with the combined reading page. Is there really demand for that kind of feature?

My ideal for the associated journals would just be a dropdown at the top of every sitescheme page (and possibly in the navbar, for people who display it) and in posting or commenting interfaces, letting you work as another journal. It's my understanding that the real draw for RPers etc. is not having to log out and back in, but wouldn't a "quick switch" feature accomplish the same thing?

Basically, I don't want DW to make changes with far-reaching implications if something simpler will work just as well.
