We had the same question for a non-profit community project, so I have at least one handy answer: http://skreened.com

- Ethical sourcing and environmentally friendly printing process (info from their ethics statement is up front)

- Multiple color designs work best on light fabric, or with something that'll be high contrast. The colored images at http://skreened.com/tcpaganpride look faded (though sometimes sort of cool!) on darker shirts

- Sizing is about what you'd expect - but both I (20-22 US women's size) and another board member (slightly larger) have been able to find shirts that fit us. (I think both of us ended up getting the classic 3XL, but they fit reasonably well.)

- The shirts hold up reasonably well in washing: several board members have shirts we've used for multiple events over the course of a couple of years (so, not high-use, but enough they've been through the washer/dryer a bunch of times.

- Prices are highish, but not unreasonably so, given the ethical sourcing bits. Shipping can be a tad slow, but I'm talking week-or-two to ship, not months. (That has to do with the printing process: it takes a little longer than some of the other options out there that are less environmentally friendly.)
