I have to admit that v-gifts have always struck me as a little silly--but if they're so popular, who am I to complain? My own thought is that you might have a selection of *real* gifts people could give through Amazon with a click-through, allowing you to rake a little off the top.

Privacy concerns here would have to be left to your creative wizardry, but it seems as though there ought to be *some* way to make it work.
